We went with Southwest Funding and were very pleased then. Now, a year later after more improvements with our credit we were able to refinance at a full two points lower interest rate. I don’t think that would have happened elsewhere.  

The process started in April when I received a pre-approval. We found a home, went into contract with an original close date of June 21. It is now July 23 and there is not a clear to close. I have had to put $1000 into escrow every week in order to extend the contract with the seller. I am ready to lose thousands of dollars  this week if we don’t get the clear to close.  Mental, financial, and emotional exhaustion throughout the process.
